On wednesday January 11 the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten issued a press statement in which they took a firm stand against the new Nature Law by secretary of state Bleeker. This message has been co-signed by many (nature-) organizations. Alertis wholeheartedly approves of this resistance, and joins the protest. The New Nature Law is a direct threat to the naural heritage in Holland. It is unthinkable that the little nature that is left in this densely populated country, is threatened by politicians. We hope that the protests lead to a adaption of the original proposal.
