Starting from September 1 our bears Björna and Mascha have been adopted. Mascha has been adopted by Fleur Schreuders and Imar Spaanjaars. Jolanda Biever and Aad Wallaard adopted bear Björna.

Mascha is a playful chocolate coloured bear and one of the eyecatchers of the Bear Forest. From time to time she still sprints after the young bears to set them straight. Mascha had to perform tricks in the Russian Circus, an experience that still troubles her, judging by the dance steps she sometimes makes.

Björna moved from Sweden to Ouwehands Dierenpark to be a playmate for polar bear Huggies. Later she ended up in the Bear Forest. She still loves to play, especially with the other bears. She even has fun with the wolves, so never a dull moment with this bear.
